Zantac Lawsuit
A Zantac Lawsuit is a wrongful death claim by relatives of victims who ingested the pain killing antacid medication and subsequently were diagnosed with lung cancer. Zantac (as well as its generic variant ranitidine) was found to contain the antiseptic agent phenylethylamine. Since then up to now, over a dozen pharmaceutical corporations have recalled the medicine. The Food and Drug Administration has even threatened to block the sale of the medicine. All this because the evidence suggests that Zantac was actually missed, despite the manufacturer's claims that the medicine did not cause cancer.

In addition, many plaintiffs' lawyers argue that Sanofi Aventis did not warn Zantac users about Zantac's potential for addiction and dependency.
